The boutique hotel is the passion project of a pair of locally based designers who imagined a sleek, eco-friendly, adults-only getaway built right into the landscape at the foot of the Pic de Vissou. The result was a pair of ultra-modern lodges, both built of organic French wood and elevated on stilts, creating the illusion that they’re suspended over the lush hillside.One is called Les Nuages, and the other L’Arbre Perché, and while they differ slightly in details, they’re similar in style. Both come with plentiful outdoor space, including a 7-meter heated private pool with counter-current swimming and hydromassage jets. Inside, the blonde wood-lined interiors showcase contemporary art and design, with spacious, light-drenched living rooms, bathrooms with Japanese fixtures, rainfall showers, and free-standing tubs. And without common spaces, everything happens in your lodge, from massages and aquatic treatments to breakfast and dinner, prepared by your hosts.

• Two lodges only, two guests each. Each lodge is 110 sq. m of private space, indoor and outdoor combined.
• Each lodge has its own private pool, heated to 32°C all year round and never shared: a 7-metre pool with counter-current swimming, a bubble deck, hydromassage jets and massage cannons. There is no separate jacuzzi; those functions are built into the pool.
• There is no shared spa, no treatment cabin, no changing room, no sauna and no hammam. Massages with KOS PARIS products, Janzu — a 60-minute one-to-one aquatic treatment given in your own heated pool — yoga and coaching are all delivered inside your lodge, on request. Bath amenities are Diptyque Paris.
• There is no restaurant. Breakfast is included and delivered to your lodge each morning. The Menu Balade is cooked by the hosts and served in your lodge, for up to four guests.
