Two rooms incorporate the castle’s turrets, one repurposed into a reading room and the other into a boudoir, and all have views over the Canal du Midi.
While there’s no doubt the upstairs suites are dreamy, equally intriguing are the owner’s original Moorish-style billiards room, with its stained glass windows and high domed ceiling, now a restaurant specializing in slow food, and the English gardens, with their antique greenhouse and natural swimming pool.
