Fairmont Tokyo

If you haven’t checked in on Fairmont lately, you might be surprised by the sleek stylishness of the brand’s current generation of luxury hotels and resorts. Fairmont Tokyo is a case in point. It occupies the top floors of the very contemporary Blue Front Shibaura Tower South, a 2020s development with views of Tokyo Bay. And while its interiors aren’t outré or avant-garde, they’re tastefully stylish; the rooms, in particular, are too detailed and subtly colorful to be minimalist, but are soothing all the same.

They’re also enormously comfortable, as you’d expect; some face Tokyo Tower and the city skyline, others the bay. The Fairmont Gold accommodations offer elevated service and amenities, as well as access to a dedicated lounge. And all guests have access to such luxuries as the spa, with its open-air pool deck, and to multiple restaurants and bars serving Japanese, Mediterranean, and French fare.
