Bvlgari Hotel Tokyo

Many a European brand actually finds its ultimate expression in Tokyo, and Bvlgari, the Roman jeweler-turned-hotelier, is among them. The Bvlgari Hotel Tokyo is set, in classic local style, atop a skyscraper close to both Nihombashi and Ginza, but once you’re inside, you’re in Patricia Viel and Antonio Citterio’s world — were it not for the views of the Japanese capital outside the windows you might mistake it for Milan. Its 98 rooms and suites are exactly what you expect from Bvlgari: faultless luxury in the modern Italian mode, but with a subtle Japanese accent. Also present are the lavish Bvlgari Spa, the Bvlgari Bar, and Il Ristorante - Niko Romito; all do justice to the Italian originals, and then some.
