Some masseria hotels operate almost as guest houses, but this one offers proper hotel service, made all the more personal by the modest room count.Nine suites are available, though a pair of them can be combined into a two-bedroom suite, and the whole masseria can be booked as a unit for a larger gathering. In classic Italian style modern-luxe furnishings share space with weathered stone walls; the comforts are, if not exactly high-tech, certainly up to date. The kitchen serves seasonal, rustic-inspired Southern Italian cooking, and a spa is in the works — meanwhile the beaches and villages of Puglia are within easy reach, as is the picturesque city of Lecce.
