Rooms and suites are all thoroughly unique, each based on a theme, and the design ranges from eclectic — animal prints, free-standing copper bathtubs, wooden sinks, retro waterbeds — to avant-garde, as in the Media Suite, with inflatable metallic furniture and an XBox One next to a fireplace. Amenities vary, though they’re high-end across the board, including Sonos sound systems and showers designed by Philippe Starck. Many feature private patios with views over the city. There’s a ground-floor café for a quick breakfast, and for dinner, a magical flourish: the one-MICHELIN-Star restaurant from which the hotel takes its name.
