There’s something almost Big Sur about it; sensible enough, perhaps, given that both places find common ground in dramatic sunset-facing sea views. But it’s the Two-MICHELIN-Star restaurant that really defines the hotel, overseen by chef, local and now owner Mathieu Guibert, who first joined the hotel in the kitchen after training under Yannick Alléno, Christian Le Squer and Philippe Mille. There’s also the Bib Gourmand bistro Beau Boucot, which sits oceanside just a ten-minute walk from the main house, offering a particularly lovely sunset view if you time the reservation right.
