It’s not quite camping, as they feature all the comforts of a permanent structure, including indoor and outdoor bathrooms and private pools — and the hotel’s design, by Bill Bensley, is anything but utilitarian.Tents are styled not in drab safari-style khaki but in rich, dark colors, and decorated with Balinese crafts. Each one comes with its own plunge pool, as well as an up-close view of the surrounding forest. The local culture is highlighted here, with performances and educational experiences given as much attention as simple creature comforts. And in some areas, the two threads are woven together: the Auriga spa is inspired by the moon cycle and Balinese wellness traditions, and the restaurants serve a Indonesian cuisine and an Asian-inspired tasting menu.

• As a guest of Capella Ubud, Bali, your experience includes sleeping inside canvas walls which allow you to hear the sounds of nature from dusk till dawn.
• The Camp is located in a dense rainforest on sloping terrain leading to the sacred Wos River in Keliki Village. Some of the tents are located on steep terrain accessible through steps. There are tents situated on flat terrain. The safety and security of our guests remain our top priority. Therefore, we advise that the Camp is not best suited for families with children under six years old and guests with mobility challenges due to the nature of the campsite's terrain.
• To safeguard our camp residents’ safety, security and privacy, no drones are allowed on site.
