The fact that there are a mere eight suites and apartments contributes to the sense of secluded privacy, and the common spaces — a series of living and dining rooms — are nearly as plentiful as the accommodations.
And while you’d think a polo club might get little use in this mountain climate, you’ve likely failed to consider the possibility of snow polo — at Valcastello they play on grass during the summer months, and snow during from December through March. Just another reminder that Valcastello isn’t your ordinary Dolomites chalet — though it’s worth remembering that if the polo ponies aren’t your thing, you’ve still got all the traditional Alpine diversions right at your feet.
