We’ll go one better and simply add that the list of hotels with one recording studio is not a long one.Non-musicians shouldn’t get the impression that the studios are the only noteworthy thing about the Nhow. The building itself is a marvel, with Sergei Tchoban’s design cutting a rakish silhouette: the upper floors, with their shiny metallic skin, cantilever out over the Spree. And inside it’s an industrial-design wonderland courtesy of Karim Rashid, whose wild colors and curvaceous forms set a distinctively futuristic tone.
And if you’re a fan of high-design hotel rooms you’ll be delighted to find that the fireworks aren’t contained to the public spaces. There’s nothing in business beige here — more colors, more curves, more Karim Rashid fantasia. Have an electric guitar delivered, if you’re in the mood for a jam — or book a session in the studios, if you’re ready to lay tracks.
