The owners timed the opening with the winter holidays, making the most of the location en route to the Colere and Monte Pora ski centers. But this design-focused hotel, positioned on a hilltop surrounded by mountain scenery, is a worthwhile destination in all four seasons.Rooms are modern but cozy, with pale wood paneling, sophisticated lighting systems, and private patios with views of the Alps. Larger suites have wood-beamed ceilings and spacious terraces with outdoor Jacuzzis. The hotel’s chalets are particularly stylish, with skylights, knotty pine walls, and inviting open-air seating areas. More striking still is the beautifully illuminated spa and its temperature-controlled indoor-outdoor swimming pool. Breakfast is served al fresco in summer, and in winter with scenic mountain views through huge picture windows; the surrounding landscapes are a playground for outdoor activities throughout the year.
