antorini is full of romantic hotels, but the highest concentration might well be found in Imerovigli. Maybe it’s the location, on the highest point of the island with sweeping views over the caldera; perhaps it’s the breathtaking sunset over the water; maybe it’s the quaint village itself, with its whitewashed buildings and quiet lanes. Or it could be the fact that the hotels that have staked their claim here have been in the business for decades, like Astra Suites, a luxurious boutique hotel that’s been perfecting the sun, sip, and swim experience since first opening in the early nineties. The formula works: in short, every room is a stylish sea-facing suite with a private terrace.

The simplest suites are anything but. Designed in a loft style, with a domed ceiling over the sleeping area and an open-plan living and dining space, they’re bright white with colorful tiled floors resembling opalescent sea glass. Higher-end suites are lavishly appointed with spacious living rooms and open-air hot tubs or plunge pools; a few have in-bedroom showers. The larger pool offers a sleek all-white bar and striking views over the Aegean, and the lookout from the restaurant’s terrace is just as marvelous, especially in the late afternoon as the sun goes down.

• The hotel welcomes guests of all ages. Guests 18 and older are considered adults.

• Kindly note: Astra Suites is located in a prime location, on the caldera’s cliffside. Due to the terrain it is not recommended for those with mobility difficulties, and small children must be closely supervised at all times.

• For our guests with young children:
ASTRA Suites is happy to be among the few luxury hotels in Santorini to welcome families with young children. Please have in mind though that the majority of our guests are couples and honeymooners expecting a certain level of decorum and peaceful relaxation. In light of this we do not offer any specific children's facilities and therefore particularly in the vicinity of the main swimming pool and surrounding public areas, we kindly ask that there also be NO running, diving, splashing or shouting, especially around siesta time from 14:00-17:00. Please accompany and supervise children AT ALL TIMES for their own safety as well as the respectful enjoyment of others.

• If you plan on arriving earlier than our check in time and would like to enjoy your room from the time you arrive, we recommend you reserve your room for the night prior to your arrival to ensure that it is available to do so. Likewise, if you wish to leave your room later than our check out time we recommend you reserve your room for an additional night to guarantee that you will have room until you depart.

• In case you choose not to reserve the additional night, it will be our pleasure to store your luggage for you until check in or after check out.

Important Notice: While each accommodation does have it's own private balcony or terrace, this means the space is yours alone and is not shared with other guests, it does not mean you cannot be seen by anyone, as the building of walls and partitions would block the beautiful caldera scenery you come here to enjoy. That said, the Suites with Outdoor Jetted Tub and Pool Suites are the most private accommodations possible, so we encourage you to book only these categories if you wish maximum privacy in this type of setting.
Classic Junior Suites as well as Premier Junior Suites, located on the ground floor swimming pool level, have their own terrace however it is not secluded as you can be seen by other guests passing by.

• Eligible Hotelist Club reservations: Welcome amenities may be delivered to your room after you check in. A “Do Not Disturb” status may impact the delivery of these amenities.

• There is a surcharge for the third and fourth guest when staying in the Astra Private Villa, which varies depending on the season.
