huket has more than its fair share of high-end resorts, but Anantara Mai Khao Phuket Villas feels especially luxurious. It’s partly the secluded location, tucked away between the Andaman Sea and a mangrove forest near the island’s northernmost point, part of the protected Sirinat National Park, and pleasantly removed from the busy port of Phuket Town. It’s also the fact that most rooms are airy Thai-style villas with private pools, and that the lagoon-like main pool stretches out along the coastline, dotted with double sunbeds elevated on platforms above the water — and that famed landscape artist Bill Bensley designed the grounds to resemble a tropical paradise with wooden catwalks leading across ponds with floating magenta lotus blooms.

Throughout the resort, the look mixes modern elegance with Thai tradition: high ceilings, rich teak furniture, crisp white linens, decorative woodwork, and pieces by local artists. Suites are relatively simple with vibrant botanical-inspired murals, floor-to-ceiling windows, kitchenettes, and private balconies, though some have multiple bedrooms or private pools. An array of villas feature perks like sunken outdoor tubs, free-standing pavilions for poolside dining, and direct beach access. Boating, diving, fishing, and various other activities are easy to access. But with so much available onsite, from a beautiful spa to yoga and Muay Thai classes, from a treehouse omakase experience to a swim-up bar and a range of sophisticated dining venues, no one would blame you for staying put.

• A refurbishment program will take place from 16 August until early November 2026. During this period, one building on the south side of the resort will be temporarily taken out of inventory for façade repainting and corridor resurfacing.
• The south reception will be refreshed from 8 September to 16 October 2026. The north reception will remain fully operational.
• La Sala restaurant will be closed from 1 September to 15 October 2026. During this period, dining will be available at Talad restaurant, with a temporary breakfast venue at Sea Fire Salt.
• The tennis courts will be unavailable from 16 August to 30 September 2026.
• All other resort facilities, including the south pool, will remain operational. Guests seeking a quieter experience are encouraged to use the north pool.
• Every effort will be made to minimize disruption and ensure a comfortable stay.

• PLEASE NOTE: Mandatory Gala Dinners are held on 31st December. Guests will be charged the following:
•- Adults: Additional THB 29,425 per adult (inclusive of taxes).
•- Children: Additional THB 14,713 per child (inclusive of taxes).
• Gala Dinner price is not inclusive in room rate and will be collected upon check in at the resort.

• EXTRA PERSON FEE (with Rollaway Bed):
•- Adult (12 years old above) THB 4,748 included 18.7% taxes per adult with complimentary rollaway bed setup and breakfast.
•- Child (3 – 11 years old) THB 772 included 18.7% taxes per child with existing bed setup and breakfast.
•- Infant (0 – 2 years old) stay free in baby cot including breakfast.

• MAX OCCUPANCY:
•- Two Bedroom (Family Pool Villa; Pool Suite; Royal Villa by Jim Thompson): Can accommodate up to 4 adults & 1 child at applicable extra person fee.
•- Two Bedroom (Mai Khao Suite; Family Suite; Pool Pavilion): Can accommodate up to 4 adults & 2 child at applicable extra person fee.
