Inside, it’s more like a design museum, mixing sixties glamour with Scandinavian simplicity and alpine chalet-inspired elements. Rooms and suites are minimalist with floor-to-ceiling windows, pale wood floors, white walls, built-in bookshelves, and eye-catching lamps by Artemide. Pieces by Italian designers and artists appear throughout the hotel, including in the retro lounge, with its conical fireplace and wraparound conversation pit, and in the airy, light-filled restaurant, a destination in itself.
