PETALS TOKYO - Floating Hotel

Warehouse Terrada began as an art storage concern, and is now not just a major exhibitor but has turned the canal-side district of Tennozu into a thriving Tokyo arts district. Nor are they content to stop there — Petals Tokyo is the group’s first foray into hospitality, and it is, to say the very least, no ordinary hotel. Here four houseboats in dramatically divergent styles comprise what might be Tokyo’s most unique lodging. Inside, they’re still distinctive, though more luxurious and more sedate than their exteriors might lead you to believe. Naturally there’s not much space for an on-site restaurant, but Tennozu’s offerings are plentiful.
